Staying in is part of the journey too
La Cabaña Norte is conceived as a home during your stay: a place to cook, share time, rest after a hike or decide that the best plan for the afternoon is indoors.
The project includes a large living, kitchen and dining space on the ground floor, three bedrooms upstairs, a solana and a fireplace.
All within a historic cabin that must remain recognisable as part of the pasiego landscape.

The Valles Pasiegos begin all around
Villafufre lies in the Pisueña valley, among meadows, small roads and rural architecture. From La Cabaña Norte, the journey can continue towards villages, trails, food, heritage and the landscapes of the Pas and Miera valleys.
But getting to know the Valles Pasiegos is not only about collecting places. There are also days to walk nearby, buy something to cook or simply stay and enjoy the surroundings.

A new house that remains the same cabin
Restoring La Cabaña Norte means adapting a historic pasiega building to a new stage without erasing what makes it understandable: its stone, its proportions, its relationship with the land and its rural character.
The project is currently in development and the opening of the future accommodation is expected in summer 2027.
